ATTN: We are no longer located in Illinois. This page is all about our veterinarian in IL. We have just moved to North Carolina so we will update this info as we get reestablished here with our new veterinarians.
Puppies will come with a health & genetic guarantee, vaccinations, and be dewormed by the vet.
Above is our veterinarian office where our vet
examines each and every one of our animals and
makes sure they are strong and healthy before they go to their new homes.
Each puppy will get his/her first set of puppy shots and fecal/dewormer
before going home.
After the full puppy exam and check up, our vet releases them to their new
homes and they are accompanied with all health papers from our vet.
We guarantee all of our puppies against all life threatening illnesses, genetic
disorders, and hereditary defects. They will all be free of any sort of illness
(including parasites) and completely healthy or they do not leave.
Puppies are not raised on our raw diet because of convenience once moved
to their new homes. We have them on 4Health puppy kibble.
We keep in contact with all of our new owners by sending updates
and photos of their puppies. Sometimes we take videos and send those
randomly.
If you reserve a puppy before it is born, you have the option of getting a
puppy without its tail docked. We dock tails and remove dew claws. Tails are
an option but dew claws pose a chance for future injuries. As a retired
groomer, I have seen too many torn dew claws on small dogs and if we can
prevent this from happening by removing them before the cartilage turns to bone,
we absolutely will. This process is done when they are just 2-3 days old.
All vaccinations and deworming are performed by our veterinarians at the
Tender Care Animal Hospital in Peoria IL. Below you will find photos of all
three of our vets, Dr. Larson, Dr. Segal and Dr. Whittington, even one of Dr. Grant who now works at Tri-County Animal Emergency (which is our after hours hospital).
