Self Chinchilla

Self Chinchilla

Self Chinchilla Group- Just like the full color self group except instead of C you replace it with cchd.
This makes little difference to the full extension self colors except possibly eye color since chinchilla
can have marbled eyes. The non extension self part of this group takes what would be a tort with
cinnamon body color and replace it with a creamy almond color called pearl in angoras.

Self Black Chinchilla- Deep black with brown or grey marbled eyes, its normal for the wool to lighten as there is only so
much pigment, guard hair is jet black and wool a deep charcoal color carried as deep a color as far down
to the skin as possible. Kits are born black and mature black. Genotype is aaB-cchd-D-E-

Self Blue Chinchilla- Deep Blue with blue grey or marbled eyes, guard hair is deep blue and the wool is a blue that
should be as deep as possible carried as far down to the skin as possible. Kits are born blue and mature
blue. Genotype is aaB-cchd-ddE-

Self Chocolate Chinchilla- Deep Chocolate with brown or grey marbled eyes that have a slight ruby cast. Guard hair is a
rich chocolate while wool is a dove chocolate carried as deep in color and as close to the skin as
possible. Kits are born chocolate and mature chocolate. Genotype is aabbcchd-D-E-

Self Lilac Chinchilla- deep lilac with lilac grey or grey marbled eyes that can have a slight ruby cast. Guard hair should
be deep lilac while wool is a dove lilac carried as deep in color and as close to the skin as possible. Kits
are born lilac and mature lilac. Genotype is aabbcchd-ddE-
